Runner Javed Bhatti completes double Pennine Way run!

52 year old Javed Bhatti completed the 2016 MONTANE® SPINE® RACE in just short of 7 days, he was one of only 24 runners to complete this gruelling 268 mile event in winter. But then he turns around and runs all the way back, hoping to do it quicker! However the snow, ice and strong winds we have experienced meant it was just over 15 days to complete both North and South routes. This amazing feat is also raising much need funds for Mountain Rescue and donations can be made at Javed Bhatti Justgiving Page.  We spotted a couple of the runners making their way past  Frith Lodge with some pretty impressive head torches, must admit I did think rather them than me!
