Country Living Magazine features Swaledale as one of the remotest parts of the UK by celebrated nature writer.

Author of more than 80 books on walking the British countryside and vice-president of the Outdoor Writer’s and Photographer’s Guild, Roly Smith explains in May’s edition of Country Living Magazine why the union of nature and man found in Swaledale makes the rest of the world feel unimportant. The article also features photographs of Upper Kisdon Force one of several waterfalls near Keld.
