This is what pubs should be like, no wifi….. so you talk to each other!! There is a ‘muddy boots and dogs’ welcome at the door and that really sets the tone for a wonderful place to aim for on any Dales day out.
Well kept Ales (and this means what it says here!) and traditional, tasty pub food makes this a firm favourite of ours anytime of the year. In winter we love to cosy up by the fire and when the Dales weather allows we sit out in the sheltered sun trap and eat al fresco!
A highlight here is the community singing that follows the Muker Show every year (first Wednesday in September).
