Thinking of New Year Resolutions for 2018, how about the Walk 1000 Miles challenge? Why…
Muker Show
2015 was the 110th Grand Annual Show held in Muker meadows, probably one of the best locations for any agriculture and horticultural show. The Muker Silver Band led the procession of officials and judges from the Farmers Arms to the show Ground at 10.00am. The day was filled with Sheep Dog Trials, Sheep Judging, Dry Stone Wall Demonstrations, Children’s fancy Dress, Quoits Competition, Fell Races and Tents displaying the entries and winners of the various produce, handicrafts and photography competitions. The day was rounded off with Community singing at 5.30 with the Muker Silver Band outside the Farmers Arms.
Always the first Wednesday in September…. one not to be missed! Walk to Muker from Frith Lodge B&B Keld, see our Local Walks page.
